Profound Gratitude to UAE Donors
WAKISO, UGANDA – The lives of countless residents in Wakiso District, Uganda, received a profound uplift today as the House of Charity Foundation (HCF) officially inaugurated a comprehensive new project, a testament to the unwavering generosity of its partners in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The newly completed facility is an integrated community asset designed to address fundamental needs for education, spiritual growth, and public health. The project comprises a fully-equipped classroom block, a life-changing borehole for clean water, and a beautifully constructed mosque.
The commissioning ceremony was attended by community leaders, beneficiaries, and representatives of the House of Charity Foundation, who all echoed a chorus of deep appreciation for the international support that made the initiative possible.
Education, Water, and Faith in One Hub
The new development is a critical step towards empowering the local community for a sustainable future:
- State-of-the-Art Classroom Block: The new school structure will provide a safe and conducive learning environment for hundreds of children who previously faced inadequate facilities. Equipped with essential furniture and learning materials, the block signifies HCF’s commitment to breaking the cycle of poverty through quality education.
- A Gift of Life: The New Borehole: Access to clean, safe water has been a persistent challenge for the community. The newly installed borehole will provide a reliable source of potable water, drastically reducing waterborne diseases and freeing up the time of women and children who spent hours fetching water, enabling them to focus on education and economic activities.
- The Masjid (Mosque): A Centre for Spiritual Growth: The completion of the mosque provides a dedicated and dignified space for worship and community gathering. It will serve as a hub for religious education, social cohesion, and the promotion of Islamic values of charity and unity within the district.
A Heartfelt Thank You to the UAE

The Foundation acknowledged that the rapid completion and the high quality of the facilities were directly attributable to the timely and abundant financial support received from the UAE.
“We extend our profound appreciation to our brothers and sisters in the UAE. Your generosity has brought clean water, the light of knowledge, and a peaceful place of worship to this community. May Almighty Allah bless you abundantly and reward your kindness manifold for the lasting change you have created in the lives of the people of Wakiso.”
